About Ready to be trashy? From the people who brought you Toxic: The Ride two years ago, it's a ride that's litter-ally saving the earth. This is a fun spin around Portland. We'll bike and hear hot facts about Oregon's recycling and refuse infrastructure from queer dumpster icon Alex B. Where can you toss your berry baskets? Why can't you crush cans? Can humans go in compost bins? BONUS: Bring your plastic lids (e.g, sour cream and yogurt), screw on plastic caps, hard plastic 6-pack carriers and plastics bags (has to be stretchy) and we’ll get them to the right spot. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you know the ABCs of HDPE. Don't waste your day, it'll be a blast. Music is trash pop and recycled classics, playlist incoming. Casual pace, approx 8-10 miles. Ride ends back on the Eastbank Esplanade, where it'll turn into a birthday party.
