About
Ever been to High Rocks on the Clackamas River in Gladstone? It's an awesome swim spot where the water stays cold year-round. So what better time to take a dip/dive than in the hottest part of summer? High Rocks is the perfect spot for every type of swimmer- places to just dip in, rocks jutting out a few feet above the water perfect for a cannonball, or take the challenge and jump from 20+ feet above the water. There are lifeguards on duty so everyone is safe.
This is a one-way ride as the end point is the park and people are welcome to stay as long as they like.
Bring sun block and water! Maybe even some snacks!
The ride will start at Westmoreland Park in Sellwood at Hall Pond (approx. the intersection of SE 22nd and SE Rex St). From there we'll go through Sellwood and pick up the Trolley Trail that goes through Milwaukie and Oak Grove until it ends in Gladstone right near High Rocks (which is basically across the street from the DMV). It's between 8-9 miles one way to High Rocks.
