Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
A ride in celebration of retro tech, computing, gaming, and the internet before social media. Everyone is welcome! We’ll ride as slow as a dial-up modem.
Bring your Commodore 64s, your Blackberries, your Gameboys or even your Bubble Macs in every color. Strap it to your bike, wear it around your neck, or just dress the part. Bonus points for working hardware!
Meet at 2:00pm at Irving Park, hang out for a while. Ride leaves at 3:00pm. We'll ride a slow loop through SE and downtown visiting some iconic Portland retro computing landmarks, then end back at the park to share our gear.
If you need to plug things in at the end location, I'll have a big battery with 120v outlets to power some number of things for an indeterminate amount of time.
