About Let's be gay and ride Marine Drive together! This is a ride for dykes who like to ride bikes, who want to ride on dikes (levees). It'll be a semi-educational ride, I'll share facts (and socio-environmental critiques) about Portland's levee system along the way. Getting to Marine Drive is better in numbers, so let's meet at the NW corner of Fernhill Park and then head north together. This is an out and back ride - we'll ride east along Marine Drive for a couple of miles and then turn around. Ride ends at Broughton beach on the way back! Bring a towel and a swimsuit for getting in the water. Bring snacks and friends! <3 Gather starting at 5:45 p.m., ride leaves at 6:15 p.m.
