About
Have you ever been on a group ride and felt the urge to help keep your community rolling safer. If so, this corkers clinic is for you. A corker is essentially a crossing gaurd to help block traffic so our rides can roll through intersections and roads without cars interfering with the ride you are on. Anyone can cork and all are welcome to do so. It's truly about looking out each other.
In this clinic we'll discuss the ways to help control the flow of traffic to help assure our rides get from start to finish in the safest way we can. We'll cover some descalation tactics, visibility, communication, and why it so important to keep calm and level headed even if the driver is agitated or rude.
Please join our clinic and the on going conversation of all the ways we can improve the safety of our rides.
