DESCRIPTION:Join us October 4th for our inaugural Bike with Me at Garden Ho
 me Recreation Center. Our first guided ride wilt take off at 10am and bike
  along the Fanno Creek Trail to Vista Brook Park. At the park\, you’ll g
 et to enjoy outdoor games\, learn about bike safety and grab a snack.\n\nB
 eaverton Safe Routes to School (SRTS) will provide helmet fittings and hel
 mets\, if needed. Their program aims to increase physical activity for kid
 s and create fun opportunities for students to bike to school. \n\nGarden 
 Home Library will be there to encourage families to not only ride together
 \, but to read together as well. Look for them along the trail and at the 
 park. \n\nWashCo Bikes works to provide bike safety education in schools a
 nd strives to make bikes available for people of all ages and abilities. W
 ith a focus on underserved communities\, they work to make bikes\, trainin
 g and infrastructure available to everyone. Come learn about their program
 .\n\nBeaverton City Police Bike Patrol and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue
  will discuss bike safety and answer any questions participants have about
  rules on the roads and trails. Our ‘Rec Mobile’ will provide fun\, bi
 ke themed activities to learn the importance of safety through games.\n\nG
 uided rides will start from Garden Home Recreation Center at 10am and 10:3
 0am. The trail is paved and approximately 1.1 miles each direction. If bik
 ing isn’t your thing\, meet us at Vista Brook Park between 10am-11:30am 
 and have fun with our outdoor games and activities. Everyone is invited to
  come connect with neighbors\, learn about trails in our community and get
  outside together. \n\nParticipants can stay as long as they want at the p
 ark and bike back to Garden Home Recreation Center at their own pace. Whet
 her your child is an experience rider or just getting comfortable on a bik
 e\, everyone is welcome! Grab your bike and helmet and meet us at Garden H
 ome Recreation Center or just come to Vista Brook Park for the party. No r
