Did you know Portland was home to the invention of the t-shirt cannon, which was famously used in an alternate cut of the movie Dr. Strangelove? No? Then join us for a deeply factual tour of the city’s most legendary landmarks and utterly true history.
We’ve spent minutes in the local library, definitely reading microfilm and not just making stuff up. On this ride/skate, you'll uncover long-lost stories of Portland’s tumultuous past, like the original layout of the city was optimised for carrier pigeons, and that is why falcons were banned within city limits until as recently as 1974.
Impress your friends with your suspiciously specific Portland trivia! Confuse your enemies! Ride your bike! Skate your skates!
Costumes encouraged, skepticism optional, all wheels welcome.
