A roving song circle on bikes! Co-leaders welcome. We'll learn our first set of songs at the start to sing as we ride, and then we will stop at fun places to learn and sing one or two more simple, heart-centered songs together at each location.
It will be another warm evening in the City of Roses. We begin (and end) in a shady park with a fountain, and the first hour or so of the ride will be mostly in the shade, with short distances between singing stops. Bring and drink plenty of water (which will also keep your voice happy!) Although there won't be an official store stop, we will pass right by Safeway and one stop will be very close to it; if anyone needs a cold beverage we'll wait for you.
Stops: 1) Irvington Elementary (NE Thompson between 13th and 14th) 2) Lloyd Parking Garage off Halsey & 10th 3) Keaton Otis Plaza (NE Halsey & 6th) 4) Earl Blumenauer Bridge (This is just a few blocks from the start and a good opportunity for anyone who'd like a shorter route to ride off singing into the sunset) 5)East Bank Esplanade 6)Back to our start at Holladay Park.
