Join PBOT's Portland By Cycle team to learn how to prepare to bike in all weather conditions!
We will cover the following topics:
- Dressing for comfort: how to manage staying dry and comfortable in wet and cold conditions
- Visibility: the best ways to see & be seen while riding in dark and wet weather
- Riding technique: bike handling tips for slippery, gritty, and other hazardous conditions
- Traffic: avoiding traffic by using lower-traffic streets - get familiar with Portlandbikemap.com
- Winter Bike Maintenance: Try this 5 minute tune-up to keep your bike riding smoothly throughout the winter
